Elise Tillinghast writes about everyday adventures such as syrup making and an all-women’s chainsaw class, as well as topical matters, including presidential politics and shocking new scientific evidence that our belly fat is plotting against us.
Her columns appear regularly in The Connecticut Valley Spectator, serving the communities of New Hampshire and Vermont’s Upper Valley. Her work has appeared recently in Northern Woodlands Magazine, Upper Valley Image Magazine and The Quechee Times. The Northern New England Review has accepted one of her essays for publication this summer.
A graduate of Dartmouth College and Harvard Law School, Elise lives in central Vermont with her husband and three bad dogs.
